Graphic architecture, urban forms and retro-inspired travel photography – that’s what Bold & Retro Photography is all about. For over 15 years, I’ve been capturing unique perspectives in cities and whilst travelling: vibrant underground stations, iconic skylines, Mediterranean alleyways and tranquil coastlines. I’m not just interested in the location itself, but above all in the interplay of clean lines, light, colour and atmosphere. I edit every image myself – sometimes with rich colours, sometimes in monochrome, but always with a timeless, slightly nostalgic look. I live in Dresden and go by the name Martin Walks on YouTube, where I explore some of the cities and places featured in my photographs on extended walking tours.
