Elisabeth Cölfen

Elisabeth is a professional surface pattern designer, illustrator and food photographer from Germany. Her passion for art began in her childhood with simple doodles. Over time, she discovered different techniques, including airbrush, pastel, oil painting and watercolour. Digital art opened up a new world of unlimited possibilities for her in terms of colours and tools. While she still sketches with pencils and paints with watercolours, the majority of her works are created digitally. Elisabeth works in a variety of styles, ranging from loose watercolours to graphic illustrations. A central feature of her work is bright pastel colours, which recur throughout her designs.
