"Every animal has the right to be immortalised in art :)"
Every animal has something fascinating about it; every animal is beautiful in its own way; every animal has admirable qualities. That is why I would like to create an artistic tribute to every animal. I will never finish this mission, but I am well on my way and I love it :) My choice of style and materials when creating the illustrations is as individual as the animal world itself. Whether ink, chalk, coloured pencil or gouache – whether soft and flowing or bold and high-contrast – I decide this on a case-by-case basis for the animal being depicted. I regularly document the creative process behind my pictures on my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@creating.creatures
