"I capture the light – between beehives, flashing blue lights and wildlife"

I’m fascinated by the glow that emerges in the darkness – whether during a night shift with the fire brigade, by a beehive in the evening light or in an animal’s gaze. My subjects come from my own world: I capture what moves me. I work with acrylics on canvas and paper. My style is defined by intense colours and striking contrasts. Light takes centre stage: it shines out of dark backgrounds, creates depth and makes emotions immediately tangible.
