"Illustrating the simple beauty of our natural world, everyday moments and funny expressive animals. Mixing analog and digital, I offer bold colors mixed with a retro aesthetic."
I am a Finnish artist and illustrator based in Helsinki. My Nordic heritage and connection to nature are reflected strongly in my art. Animals, florals and landscapes are recurring themes in my work. I love all animals, but cats have a very special place in my heart and in my art. In addition to the natural world, I get inspired by cities, architecture, beautiful decor and everyday items. I work both traditionally and digitally, often combining the two. Stylewise I am influenced by cartoons, art nouveau and anything vintage. My art is often defined by strong graphic lines and shapes, expressive characters and vibrant colors. My signature touch is bringing a bit of whimsy and playfulness to everything I create.
