"I want to bring water closer to everyone. It's so versatile, that's what motivates me. The timing, the light, the water, everything has to be perfect in this fleeting moment."

Photographing water in all its forms never ceases to fascinate me. In my studio, I work with a water bowl, a drip dispenser and a high-speed camera. In the dark, it often takes me hours and a great deal of patience to get the timing right for that perfect drop. I am equally drawn out into nature. There, the wind, light and weather dictate my work. Often it is not the planned waterfall, but an unexpected atmosphere or a fleeting play of light on the surface that gives rise to my subject. Through my photographic art, I wish to bring this diversity and the unique atmospheres of the element of water closer to everyone.
