Just a quick look at the work of Mark Parker, alias Stars Above Us, is enough to recognise the artist's two great passions: Drawing and travelling. Using various media and techniques, such as gouache or collage, the Edinburgh-born textile designer and illustrator creates colourful house facades, landscapes, streets, cities and still lifes. All his designs exude a special dynamism and aim to capture and hold on to the traces and energy of initial sketches.
